Biei Polvoron Cookies
Biei Polvoron Cookies
Polvorón is a traditional confection from the Andalusia region of Spain. The name is said to mean "crumbly" or "fragile." True to its name, a new souvenir, exclusive to New Chitose Airport, has been created with a texture that crumbles like freshly fallen snow.
The key to its texture lies in our unique wheat blend. We generously combine our original blend of Biei wheat flour, used at Ferme La Terre Biei, with Hokkaido-grown wheat flour. Furthermore, we knead in plenty of Hokkaido butter and fragrant almond powder, resulting in a richly flavored baked product.
