Thank you for your continued patronage of Ferme La Terre.
To ensure our customers can use our services with peace of mind, we would like to inform you of our cancellation policy regarding reservations and orders as follows.


Restaurant Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Revised November 19, 2025

At Ferme La Terre Biei Main Store and Restaurant, we have established the following terms and conditions to ensure customer satisfaction. We appreciate your understanding.

1. Scope of Application

(1) Any agreements concluded with this restaurant and any related agreements shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, and matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Restaurant's Terms and Conditions, laws and regulations, or generally established customs.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the restaurant agrees to special terms and conditions to the extent that they do not violate laws and customs, those special terms and conditions shall take precedence.

2. Refusal of service and cancellation of reservations/contracts

We reserve the right to refuse service (reservations and contracts) in the following cases. Furthermore, if any of the above circumstances are discovered after the contract has been concluded, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation or contract.

(1) If any of the users fall under any of the following circumstances
1. Organized crime groups, members of organized crime groups, companies/organizations related to organized crime groups or their associates, and other anti-social forces.
2. Organized crime groups, or corporations or other organizations whose business activities are controlled by organized crime members.
3. In the case of a corporation, if any of its officers are members of an organized crime group.
(2) If you engage in coercive behavior such as violence, threats, or extortion against the restaurant or its employees, or if you make demands that exceed a reasonable scope. This also includes cases where you are found to have previously engaged in similar behavior at this restaurant or other establishments.

(3) If a user is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other customers, or if they engage in such behavior. (4) If a user is clearly suffering from an infectious disease, or has a disease that could be contracted through infection.
(5) When the details of the reservation or contract (purpose of use) differ from those stated at the time of application, and a clearly false application has been made.
(6) If the user violates these Terms and Conditions (including if the restaurant determines that there is a risk of violation).
(7) If it is difficult to seat you due to the seats being full.
(8) In the event that the service is unavailable due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable circumstances.

3. Prohibited Actions Please refrain from the following actions.
(1) Bringing in dogs, cats, small birds, and other pet animals and livestock (excluding assistance dogs as defined by law).
(2) Bringing in flammable or combustible materials or hazardous materials
(3) Bringing in items that emit foul odors
(4) Bringing in food or drinks from other establishments or personal use without permission.
(5) Acts that violate laws or public order and morals, and words or actions that cause nuisance or discomfort to other customers
(6) Commercial photography or photography that disturbs other customers
(7) Unauthorized movement of installed equipment and fixtures
(8) Use for purposes other than intended
(9) Other acts prohibited by law

4. Sales

(1) Detailed opening hours for our restaurant will be announced on our website and social media.
(2) We may temporarily change our business hours if necessary.

5. Disclaimer

(1) The menu may be subject to change due to procurement and other circumstances.
(2) Please inform us in advance if you have any allergies. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if you do not inform us in advance.
(3) The quality guarantee for takeout items obtained with the restaurant's permission is only valid until the day of pickup. The restaurant cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from the following day onward.

6. compensation for damages

We ask that our customers take care not to damage or break any of the restaurant's facilities, fixtures, or equipment through intent or negligence. In the event of any damage, we request that you promptly repair the damage or provide compensation for the equivalent amount, based on the terms provided by the restaurant.

7. Fees

For special menus such as allergy-friendly or vegetarian options, we will provide a separate quote depending on the specific request. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Furthermore, cancellations after special arrangements have been confirmed may incur additional charges for actual costs incurred.
Please note that we may revise our prices due to fluctuations in raw material costs, supplies, labor costs, etc.

8. Cancellation/Modification

(1) For cancellations after booking, the following cancellation fees will apply. Please note that if you have booked a private room, the total amount will include the booking fee and the private room rental fee.
- Up to 7 days before the date of use: 20% of the reservation fee (for groups of 8 or more*)
- Up to 3 days before the date of use: 50% of the reservation fee
- Up to 3:00 PM the day before your scheduled use: 80% of the reservation fee
- Cancellations made after 3:00 PM the day before the reservation date and on the day of the reservation (including no-shows): 100% of the reservation fee
*For reservations of 8 or more people, a cancellation fee will apply from 7 days prior to the reservation date due to the preparation of ingredients and other supplies. Thank you for your understanding.
(2) Regarding changes to the date Please change the date at least two days before your reservation date. Changes made after that will be treated as cancellations, and a cancellation fee of 50% of the meal price will be charged. For both (1) and (2), if you have made a lunch reservation, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the minimum price of the course. In addition, if actual costs have been incurred due to procurement etc., these may be charged separately from the above cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding.
(3) If there are any actual expenses that have already been arranged (procurement, ordering, outsourcing, etc.), we will bill you separately from the above starting 21 days prior to the event.

9. Payment, cancellation, and changes for restaurant reservations.

Please make your payment for the restaurant venue rental fee at least one month prior to your reservation date. Cancellation fees will apply as follows for cancellations of private venue reservations.
・31 days prior to the service date: 50% of the estimated amount
・21 days prior to the service date: 75% of the estimated amount
- From 14 days prior to the service date to the day of service: 100% of the estimated price
