Black Sengoku Witch
Black Sengoku Witch
"Kurosenkoku," a type of soybean from Hokkaido, is sometimes called a "phantom soybean."
The idea for this product came about from wanting to maximize the rich flavor and aroma concentrated in these small black grains, and wondering what would happen if we replaced the raisins in "raisin sandwiches" with Kurosenkoku soybeans.
A specially crafted butter cream: Hokkaido butter is combined with white chocolate for a milky and smooth texture. Further layers of Kurosenkoku kinako (roasted soybean flour) are added, and then sandwiched between cookie dough made with 100% Biei-grown wheat flour.
